Poznan is a business city, but it is also a very important technology center with the ambition to set trends in Poland. This, among other reasons, is why companies invest here, aiming to hire qualified specialists. On the other hand, the authorities, seeing the need for development, organize and support various initiatives. One of them is the Pozitive Technologies Conference, which will be held on November 23 for the 5th time. A real IT festival with the best experts from domestic and foreign companies such as Netflix, Spotify and Amazon awaits us. And after the online part with as many as 7 thematic tracks and the main stage, there will be a POZytywny Afterparty at eN Studios in Poznan with workshops, round tables, networking, Rat Kru concert and a party. This is not to be missed!
– The IT sector is one of the priority branches for the City of Poznań. We strive to meet the expectations of our professionals and create the best possible conditions for their development. In response to their needs, as a result of the dialogue, we decided to create a networking space for IT senior specialists, enabling them to broaden their horizons. This is how the Pozitive Technologies conference was created. It has been gathering a huge group of professionals for 5 years now, and thanks to its hybrid form, it enables the exchange of experience also with specialists from overseas. We are happy that new investors notice our activities and each year they are more and more keen to choose Poznań, seeing here the potential for the development of their companies – says Jacek Jaśkowiak, Mayor of Poznań.
IT festival with content at the highest level
Pozitive Technologies is a place to meet, get inspired, gain valuable knowledge and contacts for everyone who appreciates the value of IT solutions: experienced developers, testers, DevOps engineers, data analysts, as well as IT managers and executives. Each year, the organizer, the City of Poznań, together with the producer, Eventclick, and partners strive to ensure outstanding speakers and timely topics. The free online part and the attractively priced tickets for the offline part are the combination that most appealed to participants of the previous editions.
– Capgemini is one of those partners who have been co-founding the Pozitive Technologies conference since its very beginning. It is important to us that we have an impact on the shape of the event and we improve it every year, working actively in the Program Council, involving our experts and supporting promotional actions. From an employer’s perspective, Pozitive Technologies is a great opportunity to build our expert image on the IT market, as the agenda is filled to the brim with content, stresses Michal Mikucki, Poznań Site Head, Capgemini Poland. – This year will be no different – Capgemini specialists will present issues that are the hottest trends in the industry, such as blockchain, the „Green IT” philosophy, and Cloud Generative AI. Since we are creating the Pozitive Technologies conference together with the City, of course in addition to the speeches of our experts, I’m personally most looking forward to the examples and challenges in the use of artificial intelligence in the development of cities, as John Paul Farmer will talk about – adds Michał Mikucki from Capgemini Poland.
